Author Submissions

Are you an Author, PR or Publisher? 

Paperback Adventures is open for review submissions (April 2024). Along with reviews we offer authors a chance to showcase their upcoming books with cover reveals, excerpts, Q&A's and giveaways. 

As we own an independent bookshop (The Book's Better Bookshop) we are looking at showcasing Indie Authors in the shop. Please read our Submission Guidelines below before filling in the form or emailing us. Author Submissions to our shop will be placed ahead of non shop titles as we only have so much reading time. We appreciate your understanding and patience.

Book Submission Guidelines

Authors, PR, and Publishers looking to submit your books to us for either review on Paperback Adventures &/or to be stocked at The Book's Better Bookshop, please read our submission guidelines before emailing for filling in the submission form.

We want to help promote your work. We do ask for a few things first before you submit your book(s) to us. 

• Make sure it has been professionally proofread, edited, designed, and published. We accept Amazon print on demand as long as the other items have been done. 

• Make sure it includes a spine with the title and author's name.

• Books must have an ISBN and Canadian price on the back cover.

• Set the price to align with other books in its genre.

As a review copy we do prefer a physical copy of your book. We do sometimes accept e-books for review purposes only. Our shop does not sell e-books as we have joined Broken Keys Publishing Sustainable Publishing initiative.
